Stellar Blade Switch 2 physical selling out

· Fact-checked before it aired. Unconfirmed claims from this segment are not shown.

Stellar Blade Complete Edition is launching on Nintendo Switch 2 this week: Nov. 5 in Europe/Japan and Nov. 6 in North America. It is a proper physical release — the full game is on a new 32GB cartridge, not a Game-Key Card. US pricing is $59.99 for the standard edition and $69.99 for the SteelBook edition; the European RRP is €59.99. Preorders have been strong: the SteelBook edition has repeatedly sold out and restocked on Amazon and Target, and Best Buy oversold its allocation in October and cancelled some preorders, offering $10 credits.

Demand is high because collectors want a complete-on-cartridge physical edition and the included Bayonetta collaboration outfits. Retailer allocations and limited print runs have made stock scarce. PM Studios, the distributor for the Switch 2 port, said Best Buy oversold its preallocation and promised more units.

Stellar Blade Complete Edition is releasing for Switch 2 this week — Nov. 5 in Europe/Japan, Nov. 6 in North America. The physical release has been genuinely hot: the SteelBook edition has repeatedly sold out, and some Best Buy preorders were cancelled after overselling.

There is no credible evidence that Elon Musk is moving Tesla or SpaceX to Idaho. The post also gets politics backwards: Texas is a Republican stronghold, not a Democratic stronghold. This is a personal plea for a free Tesla, not a factual claim. This is a reaction/question about Tesla's overnight performance, not a testable factual claim.

Breaking: @elonmusk is moving Tesla $TSLA and Space X $SPCX to Idaho to escape Democrat strong hold Texas.

No credible reporting; company/public-election information. NAMES: $TSLA = Tesla, Inc.; $SPCX is not SpaceX's ticker — SpaceX is privately held. POST 2117815200

What the hosts said

MThis is Tech Brief. I'm Matilda. Top story: another Switch 2 physical game is selling out before launch.
MThat's Stellar Blade Complete Edition. It hits Switch 2 this week — November fifth in Europe and Japan, November sixth in North America.
CAnd it's a proper cartridge: the full game on a new thirty-two gig card, no download code.
MThe SteelBook edition keeps selling out. Amazon and Target have restocked, but Best Buy oversold last month and cancelled some preorders.
CBest Buy is handing out ten dollar credits to people whose preorders were cancelled. That's one way to say sorry.
MThe distributor says more units are coming, but tight print runs are the new normal for Switch 2 physicals.
CMy take: if a sixty dollar physical copy can sell out this fast, physical isn't dead.
MOr the print run is just too small. We'll see on Friday.
MDifferent corner of tech: Tesla's robotaxi may have a new hub in Detroit.
CRobotaxi Radar says The Detroit News is reporting about two dozen Cybercabs at Tesla's Southfield collision repair facility.
MThe post says they've been spotted testing on Interstate six ninety-six and Eight Mile with steering wheels.
CNo official word yet from Tesla or The Detroit News in our checks, so treat it as a claim.
MIf it's real, Detroit is now a test city for the driverless push.
CAnd one more rumor, because it's GTA six.
MGTA Six Inside on X claims Sony and Microsoft are warning of console shortages ahead of GTA six's November nineteenth launch.
CWe couldn't confirm any official warning from either company. So far, it's just rumor.
MGood reason to wait before panic-buying a console.
CAnd that's the top-of-hour rundown.
