What the hosts said

CDianna Agron just pulled on that red Cheerios uniform again.
LWait, the Cheerios? As in Glee?
CShe's recreating the 'I Say a Little Prayer' cover with Myha'la and Ben Platt.
LBen Platt and Myha'la doing a Glee dance? That's... a cast list.
CLook, after the reboot announcement, this is smart. The fans are already in a nostalgia spiral.
LNostalgia for a show that only ended... wait, the reboot's happening?
CDisney+ and Hulu, Ryan Murphy. And Dianna's out here warming up the old choreo.
LThe cheerleader dance was never the strong suit of that show, C. That's why it went viral — we were all cringing and watching at the same time.
CThat's the charm. Ben Platt brings the Broadway voice, Myha'la brings the Gen Z energy, Dianna brings the legacy.
LWait, Myha'la? From Industry? She's a sniper. Wall Street and a cheerleader dance? What is this crossover?
CIt's TikTok. Everyone is in a bathroom doing synchronized moves now. Even serious actors.
LI mean, the original clip of Dianna and the girls doing 'I Say a Little Prayer' — the harmonized walking, the hair — actually holds up.
CYou were just mocking it.
LI can do both. It's a chaotic train of people singing Aretha in a hallway. It's absurd AND iconic.
CThe new cast has none of that absurdity yet. This is them trying to borrow some.
LSmart, because the reboot needs the old fans to not revolt.
CThe old fans are already in the group chat analyzing every chord.
LAs they should. Glee was a cultural moment, not just a TV show.
CAnd now it's a dance trend months before it even airs. Marketing win.
LOr a warning sign. Hollywood leaning on old IP to do the work for them.
CNow you sound like the snobby critic.
LI'm a pop culture obsessive. Snob is my middle name.
CDianna's timing is the real story. Reboot announcement lands, and she's already in the dance studio with two co-stars.
LThat's not a coincidence. That's a pre-planned nostalgia bomb.
CAnd it worked. The clip is everywhere.
LI still say the original version with Naya Rivera's energy is untouchable. Sorry, Ben.
CNo one's touching Naya. They're just vibing in her shadow.
LAnd I'm fine with that. Inspiration, not replacement.
