A user named Niko posted a whole thread. The snow leopard is called Mei Mei because the face is the famous Tole Tole cat."},{"host":"Nora","text":"So somebody face-swapped a house cat onto a snow leopard and the timeline lost its mind."},{"host":"Jake","text":"It's not just the image. The whole bit is people post \"paws at you\" and then ask for something. Gamers asking for streams, raids, whatever."},{"host":"Nora","text":"That's a caption. The actual visual is a face swap kids were doing in Photoshop in 2009."},{"host":"Jake","text":"No, the joke is the contrast. Majestic snow leopard body, completely unbothered housecat face. That's why it works."},{"host":"Nora","text":"It's the same cat meme from 2023 with a different animal costume."},{"host":"Jake","text":"That's how memes evolve! You remix the face onto a bigger, wilder canvas and suddenly \"paws at you\" hits different."},{"host":"Nora","text":"It's the same \"I can has\" energy from fifteen years ago. It's nostalgia wearing a snow leopard costume."},{"host":"Jake","text":"Exactly! Nostalgia plus absurdism. KnowYourMeme says one version has over 1.4 million views. People want low-stakes weirdness at midnight."},{"host":"Nora","text":"A million views doesn't mean it's good. It means people are bored."},{"host":"Jake","text":"Bored and delighted. I saw someone post \"paws at you, rewatch my entire stream archive,\" and I almost did it."},{"host":"Nora","text":"You opened a stream archive? That's entrapment."},{"host":"Jake","text":"I'm not saying it's high art. I'm saying it's the only meme tonight that made me actually type a request."},{"host":"Nora","text":"You typed one?"},{"host":"Jake","text":"I asked for a video of a snow leopard yawning. Someone delivered in under a minute."},{"host":"Nora","text":"Fine. The speed of the internet is still undefeated."},{"host":"Jake","text":"See? Low-stakes internet can still actually be fun."},{"host":"Jake","text":"But you have to admit, the name Mei Mei is perfect."},{"host":"Nora","text":"The cat's name was Tole Tole. Now it's Mei Mei? That's confusing."},{"host":"Jake","text":"It's the same cat. The internet renamed him."},{"host":"Nora","text":"Of course it did. The internet also decided a snow leopard needed a request line."},{"host":"Jake","text":"And the request line is thriving. That's the point."},{"host":"Nora","text":"Different world entirely. Pop Base on X just posted that Selena Gomez's \"My Mind & Me\" came out four years ago today."},{"host":"Jake","text":"Four years? That documentary still feels recent."},{"host":"Nora","text":"The single and the film both landed November third, 2022. It wasn't a polished pop star commercial."},{"host":"Nora","text":"She was open about her mental health, the medication, the pressure. It made the song hit harder."},{"host":"Jake","text":"Some people said it felt curated, but I think that's unfair. She showed the ugly parts."},{"host":"Nora","text":"I think it's aged well. An X user named Fepe posted \"remember November 2026\" with images and nothing else.
