The Knights led 52-28 at halftime after an 18-4 first-half run and maintained control in the second half despite a BYU rally.\n\nUCF did upset No. 19 BYU 97-84 in men's college basketball on Feb. 24, 2026, but it was not in double overtime, and BYU was not No. 2. The No. 2 BYU ranking refers to BYU football ahead of Saturday's game vs. UCF.\n\nThe post selectively lists only the Copa del Rey for Messi against three trophies for Ronaldo in 2008, but Messi also won Olympic gold in 2008 and holds numerous Ballon d'Or and Champions League titles in other years. F1 has a different kind of fire story from the US Grand Prix. Fernando Alonso's Aston Martin was literally smoldering."},{"host":"Liam","text":"Fiery Fernando, and not in the fun way. Valtteri Bottas had to swerve around a smoking green car. That's the kind of chaos we love from Austin."},{"host":"Marcus","text":"Mechanical gremlins hitting Alonso again. That man cannot catch a break this season. But here's the good news from the F1 Academy: Alisha Palmowski just won the championship."},{"host":"Liam","text":"And she did it with three races to spare. That's dominance. Repping Red Bull, driving with ice water in her veins. This kid is the real deal."},{"host":"Marcus","text":"She's been building toward this all year. To lock it up early makes a statement: 'I'm not just here to race, I'm here to own this series.'"},{"host":"Liam","text":"And you know what's great about the F1 Academy? We get to see the future of motorsport fight it out every single week, not just when they reach the big show."},{"host":"Marcus","text":"Look, I know some fans roll their eyes at the feeder series, but trust me—palmowski is a name you're going to hear on the F1 grid before long."},{"host":"Liam","text":"Alright, we've got one more thing that'll start a fight: the eternal soccer debate. Someone posted that most Messi fans were once Ronaldo fans because of Premier League TV exposure."},{"host":"Marcus","text":"Oh, here we go. The Messi vs. Ronaldo war never ends. Listen, the poster's point is actually interesting though. It's about access, not talent."},{"host":"Liam","text":"And then the replies go full chaos mode. One kid lists Ronaldo's 2008 trophies—Premier League, Champions League, Club World Cup—next to Messi's lone Copa del Rey."},{"host":"Marcus","text":"Cherry-picking at its finest! Messi won Olympic gold in 2008 too, and he's got eight Ballon d'Ors. EIGHT. You can't erase history because it doesn't fit your argument."},{"host":"Liam","text":"But the 2008 Ronaldo season was special. 31 goals in the league, Champions League winner, Ballon d'Or. That's arguably the best single season any winger has ever had."},{"host":"Marcus","text":"Best season, fine. Best ever? No. Messi's 2012 with 91 goals in a calendar year laughs at that. It's not even close."},{"host":"Liam","text":"You keep moving the goalposts! The post is about 2008, not career totals. Stay on topic, man."},{"host":"Marcus","text":"Because you can't crown a one-year wonder as the greatest. Ronaldo was unreal. But Messi did it year after year after year. Consistency is greatness."},{"host":"Liam","text":"One-year wonder?! The man scored 50-plus goals for six straight seasons at Real Madrid. One-year wonder are you kidding me?"},{"host":"Marcus","text":"I never said one-year wonder. I said crowning a single year ignores the bigger picture. Both guys are legends. But this comparison is a bootleg way to farm engagement."},{"host":"Liam","text":"Whatever, the fans are passionate and I'm here for it. That's exactly why this debate never dies."},{"host":"Marcus","text":"And we'll be back with more after this."},{"host":"Liam","text":"Primetime Sports rolls on, and we'll see you next time."}]}
