The company posted \"To everyone who stayed in our corner: Fight Night is coming back\" from a new official @EASPORTSFN account. No release date, platforms, developer, or gameplay details were revealed.\n\nThe revival follows EA's sale to Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, which closed in August 2026. Saudi Arabia has invested heavily in boxing, owning The Ring magazine and staging major fights. Previous reboot plans were reportedly shelved about a year ago, but the new Saudi ownership has created conditions for a fresh start.\n\nEA Sports confirmed on October 20, 2026 that it is reviving the Fight Night boxing series, which has been dormant since 2011's Fight Night Champion. This is a subjective reaction to a UFC Fight Night knockout by Mike Malott; no factual assertion requires checking. POST 2111617686816043493: NOCLAIM This is an opinion about boxing's year being down and a preference for UFC Fight Night over the boxing main event.\n\nFight Night was EA Sports' boxing series from 2004–2011, succeeding Knockout Kings (1998–2003), and was known for its Total Punch Control analog-stick system.\n\nThe Rays are starting Nick Martinez in Game 1 of the World Series against the Brewers instead of staff ace Drew Rasmussen.\n\nEric Earnest pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud in the NBA gambling case but denied receiving inside information from Chauncey Billups.\n\nGuardians manager Stephen Vogt said he will return in 2027, dismissing speculation about him going to the Mariners.","publishedAt":"2026-10-22T23:26:22.063Z","channel":{"id":"sports","name":"Oncast Sports","language":"en"},"show":"The Pregame","verification":{"status":"verified","leadVerdict":"TRUE","notes":"TRUE: EA Sports confirmed on October 20, 2026 that it is reviving the Fight Night boxing series, which has been dormant since 2011's Fight Night Champion.
